Picture yourself floating in the darkness, body supported by warm salty water, listening to chilled electronic beats (played by a live DJ), as lights play over your body. This is Berlin’s Liquidrom and I have to say this is unlike any spa I’ve ever been to. When you’re done with drifting about or getting loved up with your partner, you can have a massage, head for the saunas, steam baths or outside terrace. In winter, the terrace is covered with snow so if you’re into extremes you can have a snow rub followed by a soak in the heated little central pool. In summer, lie back on a lounger with anything from a herbal tea to a Caipirinha. The facilities are clean and luxurious and the vibe is comfortable as long as you’re okay with nudity – and by the time you’ve been there for a couple of hours, you’ll be so chilled you wont mind.
Prices are reasonable in terms of value for money at €19.50 for 2 hours.
Opening hours are Mon-Thurs 10am-12am and Fri-Sun: 10am-1am.
U-Bahn station is Mockernbrucke on the U1
